The programme aims to develop learners key skills and understanding in building, servicing, repair and maintenance of all types of cycles.

Mandatory succesful completion of 8 online modules is required prior to practical training:
o Frame Components
o Tool Overview
o Saddle Adjustment
o Removing and refitting pedals
o Handlebars & Stems
o V Brake fitting and adjustment
o Truing a wheel
o Gears rear derailleur

Candidates wanting to develop some of the key skills and understanding in building, servicing, repair and maintenance of all types of cycles. These qualifications could also be used as ‘interest’ courses for a wide range of learners.


Previous Experience
Some mechanical experience would be an advantage.
