Improvers Computers Internet Skills Level 3
The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to use
digital media devices to enhance their personal, social and economic well being
Objectives:
To understand the use of digital media devices in daily life
To identify security considerations for digital communication
To understand the concepts of social networking
To demonstrate and use an online social network site to create and share digital media
To operate and demonstrate the use of digital media devices which include:
Mobile phone
Digital music devices/ create playlist
Digital camera
Digital Video camera

No formal education or qualifications are required although applicants may have participated in primary and secondary education. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a standard of knowledge, skill and competence equivalent to NFQ Level 2 when accessing a Level 3 programme.

Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.
Previous Experience
