One to One Support – Reading, Writing, Spelling, IT, Maths
To develop basic reading, writing, spelling, IT and Maths skills relevant to the everyday activities of the learner.
To encourage the learner to identify and demonstrate alphabetrecognition using appropriate letter identification strategies
To build the learners confidence by identifying the preferred communicative and learning style(s) of eachparticipant.
To enable the learner to develop basic reading skills using familiar texts.
To develop reading skills relevant to the learner’sparticipation in everyday activities and to create an awareness of text conventions and various types of print material relevant to the everyday activities of the learner.
To build confidence for the learner by reinforcing and consolidating reading activities through familiarity and practice.
