The learner will be able:

To develop awareness of health and fitness
To introduce a range of physical activities to Learners
To facilitate the Learner in learning about, taking part in and developing skill and confidence
in physical activities
To develop a knowledge of a variety of physical activities
To explore with the Learner how they make personal choices about food and physical activity
and how these choices affect health and fitness
To develop an understanding of the significance of food in contributing to good health To
develop an understanding of the nature of stress and how to manage it

Education Requirements
No formal educational qualifications are required.

Priority will be assigned to unemployed persons with low skills or low educational levels who wish to progress their employment chances or achieve certification to an identified level on the National Framework of Qualifications in conjunction with an agreed career and skill development plan.


Age Requirements
Applicants must have reached the current statutory school leaving age.


Learning Aptitude
Basic numeracy and literacy are essential. Good command of the English language required in order to understand instruction and undertake required assessments..
