Facilitate the learner to acquire and use communication skills effectively for vocational, personal and interpersonal development.
Facilitate the learner to develop appropriate digital literacy skills and digital citizenship.
Explore with the learner the principles of communication theory for developing a range of communications skills for various settings.
Enable the learner to apply communication theory and techniques appropriately in different contexts.

Education Requirements
NFQ Level 4 or equivalent when accessing a Level 5 programme.
CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 5 courses for those whose first language is not English
Mature learner entry requirements available via the local ETB pathway

Previous Experience
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a moderate range of knowledge, skills and competencies relevant to the course, be able to work with responsibility and demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative.

PLEASE NOTE: Learners must have successful Garda vetting to take part on this course.
Learners must also have English language skills, have achieved ESOL L5 or C1 CEFRL.
Learners must also have a stamp 4.
