Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board (WWETB) has opened its new College of Further Education and Training in Clonard, Wexford town.
Wexford College of Further Education and Training is a state-of-the-art facility for further education and training and brings together programmes in a custom designed 52,000 sq. ft facility. The College runs apprenticeship courses, PLC, Adult Literacy, VTOS, Community Education, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Back to Education programmes.

Our Adult Literacy courses are specifically designed for individuals who:
- Possess low skills in reading, writing, and/or numeracy,
- Seek improvement in reading, writing, numeracy, and oral skills,
- Require assistance with grammar and spelling,
- Aim to enhance their skills to aid children with homework,
- Wish to acquire basic computer/digital skills – our digital literacy classes offer a diverse range to cater to various skill levels and interests.
- Aspire to attain qualifications at NFQ levels 1, 2, and 3.
The Adult Literacy Service provides confidential, fundamental adult education tailored to individuals with varying literacy and language proficiency levels. Our programmes cater to those with very low-level skills to those aiming to enhance their basic competencies.
Learners enrolled in our service have the opportunity to pursue accreditation at NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications) levels 1, 2, or 3.
We are committed to empowering adults on their educational journey, fostering an inclusive learning environment for skill development and growth.
