Best Foot Forward Dance Club are based in Garter Lane Arts Centre in Waterford City and they are funded by WWETB.
Classes are facilitated by the Dance Artist Deirdre Grant and participants have recently enjoyed many hours of online Zoom classes while the Covid restrictions are in place.
As the group eagerly looks forward to returning to classes in person they have also got involved over the Summer in the WWETB Yarn Bombing Initiative. Their plan is to knit numerous colourful squares and then attach them together into a therapeutic blanket to cover a bench. The words ‘Create, Dance, Thrive‘ will be included on it along with a mention of the group themselves and WWETB.
So do watch out for an explosion of colour on a park bench near you!
