The first LTI Activity Day was held in the WIT Arena in Waterford last November. 136 WWETB learners from 13 LTI programmes across both counties came together for the day. They took part in Yoga, Hip Hop Beats Dance, Fun & Run, Inclusive Bowls and Badminton.
The focus of the event was health and wellbeing and there was certainly nothing but positive energy throughout the event. We collaborated with the Waterford Sports Partnership, GAA and the WIT Arena for this event.
The day has formed connections and links that will further strengthen these Local Training Initiatives in providing a fantastic service for their learners.
