The aim of the course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to join polyethylene pipe safely on potable water and waste water mains systems using Electrofusion Techniques.
Employability Statement
The successful completion of the Polyethylene Electro Fusion course will enable applicants to work in the construction industry on the installation and maintenance of polyethylene pipe to Irish Water Standards.

Start Date: 21-09-2026 Hours/week: 31 Hrs 15 Mins
Minimum 1-year experience of Electro Fusion welding

1. Polyethylene Electro Fusion Welding
Use Electro Fusion welding equipment to weld/ join polyethylene pipe safely on potable water and waste water mains systems using Electrofusion Techniques to IS EN 13067:2020 standard.
