The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the relevant knowledge, skill and competence to act as an effective member of a team, completing team-related tasks under instruction, while taking responsibility own activities and actions.

Education Requirements
Applicants should have a standard of knowledge, skill and competence equivalent to NFQ Level 3 when accessing a Level 4 programme. Applicants may have participated in primary and secondary education although no formal qualifications are required.

5 Assist in setting team objectives and ongoing evaluation of progress
6 Participate in core teamworking activities, to include listening to others, communication, problem-solving, finding solutions and conflict resolution
7 Demonstrate awareness of other team members┬┐ ideas and opinions
8 Participate in feedback loops, ie giving and accepting appropriate feedback
